You can download and unzip the robot simulator application project folder by clicking here.

This application is a simple simulation platform for the Mark III robot (see http://www.junun.org/MarkIII/) that is entirely written in the Java computer language.

The primary purpose of the application is to inspire learning of computer language programming, particularly using the Java computer language.

The project free to use, copy and modify but please always acknowledge the originator.

In order to be able to use the application you need to first download and install the Java Development Kit (JDK) from here and then install the BlueJ development environment from here

You can then open the robot simulator application in BlueJ.

If you get an unsafe/unchecked operations warning every time you try to compile the robot simulator, you need to disable compiler warnings when unsafe collections are used. To do this:
- Start BlueJ.
- From the "Tools" menu select "Preferences...".
- In the "Miscellaneous" tab, (if checked) uncheck the option "Show compiler warnings when unsafe collections are used" in the "Compiler and runtime settings" panel.

You can download the presentation slides used during the robot simulator workshops by clicking here.
