Call for Papers

This conference is a unique forum dedicated to the presentation and discussion of research and practical experiences addressing all aspects of empirical assessment and evaluation in software engineering.

The previous five conferences have provided a baseline of experience in what represents good and bad practices. For the sixth conference in the series we would like to encourage papers that help with codifying and disseminating this experience. We do, of course, continue to welcome papers addressing all aspects of evaluation and assessment in software engineering, especially where the experiences relate to the problems that arise from the use of emerging technologies within new application domains.

Technical Papers

Papers related, but not limited to the following topics are invited:

Papers should conform to the authorsí guidelines available from the IEE. These can be accessed from the EASE web site.(http://www.keele.ac.uk/depts/cs/ease/ )

Experience Reports

Reports are invited that describe practical experiences with performing evaluation and assessment in a commercial or industrial environment.

All participants are invited to provide posters describing their evaluation experiences, needs and problems. Practitioners and research students who need to evaluate the effectiveness of their own work and the work of others are invited to take this opportunity to elicit comments from those who are studying evaluation techniques and practices (Max size A1 or equivalent)
